About the ratings
What the rating means
Each team gets a rating that reflects how it has performed against the teams it has played, taking into account how strong those opponents were. Higher is better, and a difference of 1.00 between two teams is about one goal. Ratings only compare teams in the same age group, and only teams that are connected by games, directly or through common opponents.
What counts
Every reported game between teams in the same age group counts. A team playing up an age group is rated in the group where it played and is marked "plays up".
Limits
Ratings are only as good as the scores and how many different opponents a team has faced. Teams need 5 games to be ranked, and ratings keep improving as more games are played. Use them to compare teams and pick fair matchups, not as a final verdict.
Live ratings include every reported game through Oct 18, 2026.
